CHP applications

Combined Heat and Power (CHP) is the simultaneous generation within a single process of heat energy and electric or mechanical energy starting from fossil fuels or renewable ones. There are different types of systems, classified according to the features of the motor. We can identify four main types: Internal combustion engines, gas turbine, steam turbine and systems with combined steam turbine/gas turbine.
The heat exchanger is indispensable for heating water or other fluids through the engine exhaust gas.
